Mooching Labradors

I'm sitting here with two young labs who are doing their very best to convince me that without immediate food, and they mean RIGHT NOW, they will most certainly pass from this life to the great beyond. They are trying to tell me that they are on the verge of starvation (last nights' supper and doggy treats don't count I guess) and if they don't get something, anything - really - to eat - well then, it will be on my conscience when their owners come and find their Labradors deceased due to complete starvation. I give in and give them a cookie. Labradors are masters of the mooch. Their Patron Saint is San Retriever de Lab Rador - Patron Saint of Suppertime. The cookie seems to have worked as they are now fully involved in attempting to see if either one can chew through the other one's neck (they can't of course, but they are having great fun trying) you gotta love them.
