I was just thinking as I was watching my hubby give old Samantha here a long hip massage and then a fun belly rub, that one of the reasons our clients (Oh good heavens, I mean our client's dogs - I keep saying I have to get out more, this time I mean it!) enjoy coming here is that they really do get the royal treatment. I make sure they get plenty of exercise, every single day, but Kenny really loves playing with all of our guests. I mean, he REALLY enjoys it. He's an executive and his job involves stress that I can't even imagine. But in the early mornings (he gets up and starts working at 5AM) he also takes time to give all our guests a early morning kiss and a gentle rub on the head or their belly. It's amazing how he figures out what each dog really likes! This early morning greeting, especially with new guests, gives them a level of comfort and happiness that lasts all day.
When he gets home, every one of our guests run to the door to greet him. And I mean really excitedly, because they know "the big guy is here and were going to play games, get cookies (when allowed) and get belly rubs, special scratchies and lots of attention. Which is very cool because I'm usually trying to cook dinner. Kenny says he loves playing with the dogs because it helps him forget about the pressures and stress of his day. They love playing with him. He has an amazing ability to understand what each of our guests enjoys. I've heard him say, sort of to himself, things like "Oh, so THAT'S your special scratchy, I knew I'd find it."
My job is to make sure every guest gets plenty of fresh air and exercise (and of course my number one concern while I'm doing that is the safety of my pack) so I assume the role of Pack Leader, which means I am IN CHARGE - there is absolutely no doubt about that within my pack. Using pure calm and assertive energy I am able to control a large group of dogs.

I think Kenny and I make a great team. I make sure everyone gets good exercise and Kenny makes sure everyone has good fun.
So staying at Keeway's Comfy Kennel, if we were to put it in human terms includes daily sighting seeing and hiking trips, a fully equipped and professionally staffed massage salon, a variety of fun activities, gourmet food and luxurious bedrooms.
Oh, I crack myself up sometimes!
More new pictures at the bottom of the page! I know my Nikon D-60 can do so many special effects and stuff I've never even heard of, but if you just put in "Auto" mode it takes perfect pictures. Kenny tells me it's a very powerful computer with a camera attached to it. Who cares, the thing is amazing.
