Keeway's Comfy Kennel Gets Our Chance to Thank Our Troops

As Americans, we all think about our heros in far away places and hope they all come home safely. Other than holding them in our hearts saying an occasional prayer for their families, we don't often REALLY get to say "Thank You" in person.

I'm very privileged and honored to announce that Keeway's Comfy Kennel has finally found a small way to offer a military family a real "Thank you." Even if it's just a small thing. We're taking care of a incredibly sweet 11 year old German Shepard (you remember how Kenny adores Shepards!). His Mom is coming home some time in October. She is a nurse who has been treating our wounded warriors for over 22 months. Her husband was just called to active duty September 1 and their son has gone away to college around the same time.

In a strange twist of fate, we heard about their situation and immediately offered free care until his Mom gets home. It's just a small thing, but small things can mean a lot to military families who face all the same worries at home and also have to focus on their mission.

Keeway's Comfy Kennel is deeply honored to be able help just one military family, even in this one very small way, and we want to express our thanks to all our men and women in uniform.
