One or two of our guests will be accompanying Keeway to our house in Maine this weekend. It's a beautiful time of year there now. Although a tad chilly at night. Fortunately, the Master bedroom is insulated and we have a heating system in that room. So on cold nights we all sleep in the big master bedroom. It's supposed to be sunny and clear for the weekend, which should mean lots of walks, ball and stick chasing and hiking around the lake. Swimming for Keeway, although no other dog in his right mind would swim in water THAT cold.
We ordered a cord of wood a few weeks ago. A cord is supposed to be a stack of wood eight feet long and 4 feet high (something like that). However, Andy, our wood guy just loads his dump truck and dumps the entire contents in front of our shed. We have already loaded a stack of wood 10 feet long and 5 feet high and we're not even half way done! We're going to try to get the rest into the shed this weekend, but it is back breaking work. We have enough wood to last several years now.
