I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Our guests this Thanksgiving were a wonderfully funny and sweet group. (pictures all the way down at the bottom!) Gus the Beagle took a liking to Maya the puppy and those two romped a lot. Iggy was her usual sweet self as was the generally dignified Miss Lily (she gets really silly and very affectionate around Kenny). Since Kenny was here for all four days of the holiday long weekend, he had all 4 days to play with our little pack, something he loves doing and our guests feel the same way.
Pretty soon, the whole group was following Kenny around like the pied piper and everyone was vying for his attention, which he dispenses very liberally. It's the funniest thing to watch Kenny plop down on the couch and then watch 3 or 4 of our guests leap onto his lap at the same time, or at least try to. He's so calm and patient with all the dogs as he arranges a comfy spot for everyone. One on each side, one on his lap and so on.
And I can tell he gets the biggest kick out of it. He talks to the all the dogs while were sitting on the couch and he's giving belly rubs and neck scratchies, which is really cute (unless I'm actually trying to watch something interesting on TV.)
I'm very thankful to all my wonderful clients for the complete faith they put in me by trusting me to keep their 4 legged family member safe, healthy and happy. This is the 7th anniversary of Keeway's Comfy Kennel and I am even more passionate about my work than ever. That's a nice feeling and I wish everyone could feel that way about their job. Speaking of jobs, I know that in this insane economy, almost everyone is feeling more stress and probably working harder than they ever have. I know Kenny is.
His friend David Frey, put together a little movie called The 25 Dollar Movie. You can click here to watch it http://25dollarmovie.com which I want to share with all of you who are working harder than ever. Just a little reminder of how we have to keep things in perspective even in hard times. I hope you enjoy it and feel inspired to pass it along or visit David's new website called appreciatelife.com, click here to see some of his other movies. www.appreciatelife.com
